Who We Are

Kaleidoscope School of Fine Art has been providing high quality art classes in the Barrington area for more than 30 years.  From founder Jill Funk's vision in 1986 to today, Kaleidoscope offers fine art education for adults and children.  Small class sizes mean more attention and focus on the individual.  Adult classes include clay, mosaic, watercolor and acrylic painting.  Classes for children include painting, clay, mosaic, papier mache and more.  Classes meet once a week for 6-7 weeks at a time; except for summer, when we have week-long camps for children.

Kaleidoscope also offers birthday parties and Girls' Night Out events.  Our Visiting Artist series brings local artists in for one-day workshops.

What We Do

Since its inception in 1986, Kaleidoscope School of Fine Art has been offering art classes for children and adults.  Our teachers are knowledgeable, creative and inclusive.  We embrace the ideal that Art is for Everyone!  Day and evening classes are available, as well as private classes and zoom options.

Our Senior Outreach programming provides art classes to seniors in Assisted Living facilities, and through BACOA. Our Legacy Art Projects and Community Art Canvas Projects demonstrate that Art is for Everyone!

Kaleidoscope School of Fine Art is a proud partner of Barrington Community organizations.  Our Art-reach programs are meant to inspire creativity, build self esteem and enhance lives through visual arts!  Recently added Art as Therapy classes provide an outlet for stress relief and self expression.
