Who We Are

Walk On’s mission is to promote well-being and inspire individuals to reach their highest potential by harnessing the healing power of horses.

We are dedicated to providing equine assisted activities to people with physical, cognitive, social and emotional disabilities. Equine assisted activities provide motivational, educational and recreational benefits that enhance the quality of life through interaction with the horse.

What We Do

Volunteers work with our staff to build a team that helps care for our horses, prepare the horses for the lesson, and assist the instructor during the lesson (by leading the horse or sidewalking with the rider) as well as a variety of additional barn tasks.

We also have a limited number of office volunteers who help with office tasks like filing, organizing, and data entry.

We also have a fundraising committee that is always looking for new members.
