Who We Are
The Barrington Career Center, formerly CareerPlace, is a volunteer driven, non-profit agency dedicated to helping clients develop search strategies, skills, and conduct an effective job search. Unemployment, underemployment, career transition, re-entry to the workforce, or first time employment are all areas where we can help. We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community at the least expense for our clients, with the same level of support usually provided by full service job placement centers.
What We Do
The Barrington Career Center offers a complete line of services including Individual Coaching, over 15 Classroom Workshops and Job Search Work Teams. We provide a positive, supportive and affirming environment and offer a wide range of programs, services and resources. Our goal is to prepare our clients to pursue rewarding employment in today’s highly competitive and changing marketplace.
