The Village of Lake Barrington is an oasis of elegant countryside living located approximately 40 miles northwest of downtown Chicago in the southwest corner of Lake County, Illinois. What We Do
The Village of Lake Barrington is a home-rule municipality functioning under the President-Trustee form of government. We are a great place to live, work, and play, with miles of walking trails and a public park at our Village Hall grounds that includes a playground. splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts.
We provide cost-efficient and effective municipal services to our residents and businesses. These services include public safety, street maintenance, garbage and recycling, and infrastructure maintenance in our business park.
