Who We Are
Chalice House is a shared project between Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist in Palatine and Interfaith Community for Detained Immigrants in Chicago, along with more than ten community partners representing numerous faiths. The home is owned by Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist.
What We Do
Chalice House provides transitional housing to immigrants legally seeking asylum in the United States. This kind of community-based housing allows families to stay together rather than living in over-crowded detention centers.
