Folks will work in teams of two, so bring a family member, friend or colleague! If you are coming on your own we will pair you with another great volunteer. Atleast one person needs to be able to lift large trays of plants. This volunteer role is for those who enjoy activities where a highly detailed and accurate mindset are critical.
Grab a customer's pre-sale order sheet with the list of plants ordered. The pair will find the labeled plants, pick the number of plants ordered and then double-check the order so all the happy plants can go to their happy new owners.
The sale is conducted in the barns area of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 West Highway 22 in Barrington, Illinois. The location is directly across from Citizens for Conservation Headquarters.
