Unload trays of plants when the nurseries deliver. Requires ability to lift and carry heavy trays of plants, up to 30 pounds. Having a very good eye for detail is important for this fun task. This is a great way to get familiar with native plant seedlings and understand various details for identifying seedlings. For those of you who are great at identifying native plants already, then come share your skills. We want to make sure we label and organize all our plant friends correctly so the right plants make it to their new homes.
Tuesday morning will be mostly unloading and carrying plants to their correct locations.
Tuesday afternoon will be mostly labeling plants.
This is our second year at the new Hill 'N Dale Preserve at the northwest corner of W County Line Rd and Ridge Rd.
