Volunteers will assemble orders by selecting appropriate trees and shrubs from inventory, loading them on carts, and taking them to the pick-up area.
Physical labor - must be able to load trees and shrubs onto carts (or work with a partner who can).
Accuracy - must be able to correctly match trees and shrubs to order (many species have similar names and may not look very different from each other).
Some volunteers may be tasked with quality control to ensure orders are being filled correctly.
Working with partners is highly encouraged so that one volunteer reads the order and checks off the items as another volunteer loads the trees and shrubs.
