FC/SC and Citizens for Conservation are co-sponsoring a planting event along Flint Creek on July 1 from 9 am to noon. We will be installing thousands of seedlings to replace invasive plants that were removed from the floodplain at Flint Creek Savanna. Meet at CFC at 459 West Highway 22 in Lake Barrington. Park near the barn or at overflow parking at Good Shepherd Hospital.
This is a family-friendly event. Youth under 14 will need to be supervised by a parent.
Funding for the plants is provided through a generous grant from the Barrington Area Community Foundation and matching funds from FC/SC.
