Volunteer Bartender – Parker Players Theater Company (PPTC)
Parker Players Theater Company is seeking friendly, reliable volunteer bartenders to help create a welcoming pre-show and intermission experience for our patrons at the Barrington Theater.
Volunteer bartenders serve beer, wine, and canned cocktails before performances and during intermission. No mixology experience is required—just comfort handling simple beverage sales and engaging warmly with guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up the bar before patrons arrive
- Selling beer, wine, and canned cocktails
- Providing friendly customer service to audience members
- Managing beverage service during intermission
- Cleaning and breaking down the bar after the performance
Requirements:
- Must be BASSET certified (Illinois alcohol service certification)
- Must be dependable, organized, and comfortable handling transactions
- Hospitality or customer service experience is helpful, but not required
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. As a thank-you for your time, volunteers are invited to stay and enjoy the performance free of charge.
