Who We Are

Whether a woman is experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or needs to explore their options, they are experiencing postpartum depression or have anxiety in pregnancy, grief/loss issues from a pregnancy, an adjustment to parenthood, or want to expand their family with adoption services, Hopeful Beginnings can help.  We also provide home study services for families working with nationwide adoption agencies.

We are first and foremost a child welfare agency and take our responsibility very seriously. Our counselors are some of the very best in our area and are committed to our clients. The entire staff thinks “out of the box” to provide professional services. We are with women every step of the way, to  care, and nurture them in whatever journey they choose.

What We Do

We create stable families through adoption, support women through the challenges of pregnancy and parenting, and building communities through counseling and education.

In addition to providing adoption services to couples looking to expand their families, we provide FREE counseling services not only to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies, but women experiencing perinatal mood disorders, such as, anxiety, depression, grieving a loss due to a pregnancy, and having trouble adjusting to motherhood, as well.  We also offer a teen parenting program through a northwest suburban high school district and case management services for pregnant or parenting women looking for referrals and assistance during hard times, such as these.
