Each December, Barrington Giving Day invites families in need in Barrington School District 220 to a Giving Day event where they receive warm coats, boots, hats, gloves, bedding, books, children’s gifts and more for the holiday. We need a lot of help in the days/months leading up to our event. This signup contains various needs as we prepare for and hold our Winter Event. This year over 860 families are invited to the event to receive necessities for their children. Join us as a volunteer and be a part of something truly amazing! All spots through December 8th will be open to volunteers of all ages. Saturday, December 9th will be restricted to volunteers in HIGH SCHOOL or OLDER in order to respect the privacy of our guests. If you are available to volunteer for the entire event on December 9th, please sign up for both shifts. We really need as many people as possible to make this event a success!
