This program offers neurotypical individuals the opportunity to gain leadership skills and disability inclusion education while working with student actors. Created by a certified disability mentoring professional, mentors receive disability inclusion training, coaching and support. Mentors develop skills in the areas of communication, socialization, compassion and patience while fostering lifelong relationships that celebrate and honor creative differences.
Our SGT Rolling Meadows program meets every Thursday from 4:30-6 p.m. at Conyers Learning Academy located at 2800 W. Central Road, Rolling Meadows. The season runs until April 17, 2025 with performances on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m.
