The Director of Financial Development focuses on the financial growth of the Choir by implementing a strategic approach to fundraising. This may include smaller fundraisers (flower sales, in-kind partnerships) to larger-scale development opportunities (corporate donations, grants).
- sets annual fundraising goals;
- builds relationships with community stakeholders to advance the mission and fundraising goals;
- leads solicitation efforts to sponsors and donors;
- leads the acquisition of grants and other institutional funding;
- oversees the development and maintenance of the donor database, coordinating with staff, an alumni liaison, marketing teams and other resources as appropriate;
- secures concert sponsors, donors and advertising for concert programs.
