Each May, CFC hosts one of the oldest and largest native plant sales in Illinois. Since its start in 1996, the plant sale has grown to selling over 20,000 plants each year, expanding native habitat in yards throughout the Chicago region. Last year we had more than 100 volunteers contribute 1,400 hours to make this wonderful event happen.
We are excited to be at our newest and largest preserve, Hill 'N Dale Preserve, located in Barrington Hills at the northeast corner of W County Line Rd and Ridge Rd.

Master Naturalists/Gardeners – experts who are knowledgeable in selection, planting and care of native plants, trees and shrubs
Answer questions from customers and provide guidance to help them make the best possible selection for their yard needs.
When signing up let us know what your area of expertise is in such as trees/shrubs, shade plants, sedges/grasses, garden design.
