Let It Be Us, a Barrington based nonprofit and an Illinois licensed child welfare agency, serving the entire State of Illinois, is forming a Committee to manage small fundraisers and is in search of volunteer committee members. Harnessing our marketing strength, wherein we reach a wide audience of families formed in multiple ways, including those touched by and formed through foster care and adoption, we would like to begin a Committee to design and implement small fundraisers, both online and in person, for the purposes of raising funds and growing awareness. The Committee will be responsible for fundraising campaign ideas and designs and implementing them throughout Barrington and beyond. The committee will be supported by Let It Be Us leadership and marketing. We will begin by setting goals and designing a Small Fundraiser calendar. This will be a fun and enjoyable way to have an impact on our most vulnerable population of Illinois children of all ages and provide a model of philanthropy to younger generations.
This Committee will meet regularly for planning and will attend events. Thank you to those who are interested.
