Elderwerks is seeking volunteers for our Aging Better Expo. The Expo will take place at the Stonegate Conference Centre, 2401 W. Higgins Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The Expo provides expert education and tips on aging topics, as well as local resources.
Volunteers will be assigned a variety of tasks including:
- Welcoming attendees
- Passing out & collecting evaluations during educational sessions
- Recording educational sessions
- Distributing breakfast & lunch
- Directing attendees in the parking lot and within the building
- Answering questions at the information booth
- Monitoring booths in the ballroom
- Assisting in the mobile eye/hearing screen booth
- Tear down and clean up
Sign up to volunteer for one or more of the following shifts:
- All Day 7:30AM-4:00PM
- Morning 7:30AM-11:30AM
- Lunch 10:30AM-1:30PM
- Afternoon 11:30AM-3:30PM
