Elderwerks is seeking volunteers for our Aging Better Expo. The Expo will take place at the Stonegate Conference Centre, 2401 W. Higgins Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The Expo has expert education and tips on aging topics and local resources.
Volunteers will be assigned a variety of tasks including:
Welcoming attendees
Passing out & collecting evaluations during educational sessions
Recording educational sessions
Distributing breakfast and lunch
Directing attendees in the parking lot and within the building
Answering questions at the information booth
Monitoring booths in the ballroom
Assisting in the mobile eye/hearing screening booth
Tear down and clean up
Sign up to volunteer for one or more of the following shifts:
All Day: 7:30am--3:30pm
Morning: 7:30am-11:30am
Lunch: 10:30am-1:30pm
Afternoon: 11:30am-3:30pm
